Children’s clothes are usually washed more frequently than adults’, which makes fading or color loss very common. But with just a few small changes in washing and drying habits, parents can help their children’s favorite outfits stay fresh, soft, and vibrant longer—especially with linen fabric, the natural material that LINOA always treasures.

Wash properly to preserve natural color

Washing method is the biggest factor affecting fabric color durability. With each wash, friction and high temperatures can cause fibers to fray and colors to fade faster.

Wash in cold or lukewarm water (below 30°C). High temperatures cause fabric fibers to expand, making dyes fade more easily.
Turn clothes inside out before washing. This reduces friction between the fabric surface and the washing drum. t Item
Choose delicate wash cycle. For linen, this mode helps protect color and maintain natural softness.
Use mild detergent without harsh bleach. Detergents designed for young children or plant-based ones are the safest choices.

If hand washing, gently squeeze and shake—don’t twist or wring hard.

LINOA always believes that caring for fabric is like caring for skin: the gentler, the longer it lasts.
