In LINOA’s early days, we tested many fabrics. Soft cotton, lightweight bamboo, smooth modal… Each had its own appeal. But none made us feel “this is it” until we touched linen for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Linen isn’t the premium fabric people typically think of. It has natural wrinkles, a surface that’s not as sleek as silk. But that honesty is what made us trust it. Because raising children is the same, nothing is absolutely perfect, but what matters is authenticity and suitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Linen is woven from flax, a resilient plant that grows naturally, requiring little water or chemical protection. From green fields, flax stalks are harvested and carefully processed to become soft fabric fibers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What’s special is that linen doesn’t demand too much human intervention. It naturally has antibacterial properties, self-regulates temperature, and becomes softer with each wash. This reminds us of parenting; sometimes, you just need to create the right environment and let children develop at their own pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Children’s skin is thinner than adults’, more prone to irritation, and needs continuous breathability. Linen has a unique fiber structure with microscopic spaces that allow air to flow freely and moisture to be absorbed effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even after playtime, when children are active or sweating, their skin stays dry thanks to linen’s quick-absorbing properties. This is something many parents have shared with us, children with sensitive skin who often experience irritation and find noticeable comfort in linen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
